Surf\u2019s (nearly) up in Wisemans Ferry because the highly anticipated state-of-the-art wave pool is on track to open next year! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In case you missed it, last year it was announced that the Central Coast\u2019s own Wisemans Ferry<\/a> is set to become home to Australia\u2019s first premium resort-style surfing destination! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Wisemans Surf Lodge<\/a> will boast an unparalleled experience, with access to controlled, five-star surf conditions all year round thanks to an artificial wave pool which is set to be nestled in amongst the tranquil bushland of Wisemans Ferry! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lodge will boast a state-of-the-art wave pool roughly the size of four football fields, with the capacity to generate multiple wave shapes, swells of up to 2.5m and 10-12 second wave rides at the main peak of the pool. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The resort is set to feature a 9-hole golf course, 54 hotel suites, restaurant, bar plus conference facilities and riverfront access making it the perfect escape without having to travel too far. Sounds\u00a0luxe\u00a0<\/em>if you ask us!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now it\u2019s full steam ahead for developers, with the Hills Shire Council approving the multi-million development on a 45-acre riverfront property with developers hoping to have the luxe resort operational in 2022. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Developers behind the project also confirmed to the Central Coast Express Advocate<\/a> that well-known Byron Bay hospitality venue Harvest would headline the food at the luxurious resort. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Harvest Wisemans is set to see a restaurant and menu created which celebrates the Hawkesbury and Central Coast region\u2019s, with a restaurant, several outdoor bars and a barbeque deck created alongside a discovery garden for visiting young families and event space.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Construction is expected to enter new stages in the coming months, with the developers behind the Wiseman Surf Lodge confirming they will be partnering with nearby suppliers from completion to operation, with the hope to bring a significant boost post-COVID to local jobs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
