It\u2019s basically the LAW to take photos of your dog doing his normal dog things like looking goofy on the lounge, getting dizzy after chasing his tail, and \u2013 of course \u2013 frolicking along the beach. And boy, Patonga Beach is one hell of a backdrop! When they steal things they shouldn\u2019t, it usually takes a co-ordinated team of five to get it back. If you\u2019ve got a dog like this, head to the 600m long off-leash area at Lakes Beach. This straight stretch is perfect to let your fast pups sprint the day away. Even the Usain Bolt of dogs could get worn out on this stretch! With a 500m stretch of sand available for dogs, they can sprint \u2013 or do \u2018zoomies\u2019 as some call it &#8211; to their hearts content! At Pearl Beach, the 400m off-leash section starts at the beaches most northern point and runs down to the Agate Ave carpark. This spot is usually pretty calm, meaning you don\u2019t have to worry about rough surf or big waves while your dog swims.
