Does that mean we can buy two jars of Nutella today?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Hold onto your Ferrero Rocher\u2019s because we\u2019ve got some news! Australia could soon have an unlimited supply of Nutella and Ferrero Rocher\u2019s thanks to a new hazelnut farm in NSW.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, the one millionth tree was planted on a farm owned by Ferrero Australia near Narrandera in the Riverina to grow materials needed for Nutella and Ferrero Rocher\u2019s.<\/p>\n

The $70 million 2600-hectare property is currently growing two varieties of hazelnuts that will be assessed for quality come harvest time.<\/p>\n

Should they be of acceptable quality, they\u2019ll be sent to the companies processing factory in Lithgow, NSW to become Ferrero products that will eventually end up in our pantries and fridges.<\/p>\n

And to celebrate the millionth tree, we totally<\/em> won\u2019t be eating 1kg jar of Nutella with a spoon tonight.<\/p>\n
