14 Central Coast suburbs have been warned to prepare for the ‘impact of the fire’.\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The NSW Rural Fire Service has warned that the out-of-control bushfire in Gospers Mountain could reach the Central Coast during the week.<\/p>\n

The fire, which is burning in Wollemi National Park and Yengo National Park, has grown 37,000 hectares since Friday, and is now covering an area of over 122,000 hectares.<\/p>\n

It is currently burning throughout Wirraba, Mellong, Wollemi, and Womerah as well as Webbs Creek \u2013 the last of which is under 40 kilometres away from Gosford.<\/p>\n

Central Coast District RFS spokesman Stuart O\u2019Keefe warned that the fire could spread to the region in an interview with the Central Coast Express Advocate<\/a> on Friday.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s more than likely going to run into the Central Coast area\u2026 just exactly we don\u2019t know,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe weather changes every day.\u201d<\/p>\n

The RFS Central Coast District have since issued warnings for multiple Central Coast suburbs, advising residents to prepare for the bushfire to spread.<\/p>\n

The areas covered in the warning are:<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Spencer<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Mangrove Creek<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Upper Mangrove<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Bucketty<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Kulnura<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Calga\/Mount White<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Peats Ridge<\/p>\n
