Anyone could think the Barrington Tops is the Swiss Alps at the moment, with the first snow of the season settling over the region yesterday! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, authorities have asked people to reconsider plans to travel to the area<\/a> over the coming days as the Barrington Tops Forest Road remains closed as a result of flooding in March this year but don\u2019t worry, because we\u2019ve got your look at the snow! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aussie Ark has shared pictures from their Barrington Tops facility, where some of Australia\u2019s most endangered species are relishing in the winter wonderland! Check out some of the pictures below: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The facility is located in the heart of the Barrington Tops in NSW at about 1,350 metres above sea level. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The animals who call the facility home are already used to the cold weather, but the Tasmanian devils especially are feeling right at home. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aussie Ark\u2019s President Tim Faulkner said the dedicated teams at Aussie Ark are still working hard to look after the animals.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDespite the snow our dedicated team are out there working hard. We all think it\u2019s a treat to see our animals out exploring their surroundings when dumped in snow,\u201d Mr Faulkner said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first dumping of snow occurred right in the midst of Tasmanian Devil breeding season, just a few weeks after the first heck of the pouches!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
