Residents of the Peninsula will now have better access to Medicare and Centrelink following the opening of a Services Australia agent.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The AimBig Office at 44A Pacific Avenue in Ettalong Beach will now provide residents with access to Government services including Centrelink, Medicare and Child Support. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Federal Member for Robertson Lucy Wicks was on hand for the opening and said it was a breakthrough for locals following the forced closure of the Services Australia office. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cToday, I\u2019m happy to report a breakthrough for our most vulnerable locals,\u201d Wicks said,\u00a0
\u201cThe AimBig office at 44A Pacific Avenue, Ettalong Beach will provide customers with access to government services including Centrelink, Medicare and Child Support.\u201d\u00a0<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n\u201cThis has been an important focus for me since hearing from the many locals who have been inconvenienced by the forced closure of the Ettalong Services Australia office.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ms Wicks said there are expanded services in Woy Woy, but the opening of the agent service provides the Peninsula community with more choice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe have also redeveloped and expanded available services at the nearby Woy Woy Service Centre which has been transformed to become the first modernised location on the Australian east coast,\u201d Wicks said,
\u201cNow, with the opening of the Agent service it means the Ettalong community has the choice to access even more services locally.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\nThe AimBig Agent service is available Monday to Friday, 9 am \u2013 11 am. The Woy Woy Service Centre is located at 87 – 89 Blackwall Road, Woy Woy.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
