There is something for all the members of the family at Susan Fahey Park, with a seven-metre tower with cubby house, rock wall, ground level carousel, a sensory garden with scent plants and musical instruments, table tennis tables, swings, fitness equipment and so much more. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The transformation of the park was a $500,000 joint investment by the NSW Government and Central Coast Council. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Parliamentary Secretary for the Central Coast and Member for Terrigal Adam Crouch say the new space is ideal for the whole community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI have no doubt this fantastic new space will be highly utilised by the hundreds of families in Copacabana.\u201d Mr Crouch said. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
Central Coast Council Administrator Rik Hart said community consultation was key to designing the park. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cCouncil listened closely to feedback from the community throughout the design and planning process, and is thrilled to deliver a high-quality facility that reflects their wants and needs,\u201d Mr Hart said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
Now, under the current public health orders, outdoor playgrounds across the Central Coast region currently remain open for exercise purposes, and Council is working to ensure as many areas as possible are available to support social distancing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
