Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer have confirmed they are just friends in real life, with their agents confirming they\u2019re not dating. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A representative for Schwimmer told The Sun there is \u201cno truth\u201d to the rumours that he and Aniston have begun dating after \u201cgrowing close\u201d following the hit show’s recent TV reunion special, while Jennifer\u2019s representative told USA Today the claims are \u201cfalse\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the retrospective HBO programme which aired earlier this year, both stars admitted to \u201ccrushing\u201d on each other while working on the show in the 1990s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI had a major crush on Jen,\u201d David, who played Ross Geller on Friends told show host James Corden.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Jennifer, who played Rachel Green, also admitted, \u201cIt was reciprocated. I remember saying one time to David, \u2018It\u2019s going to be such a bummer if the first time you and I actually kiss is on national television.\u2019 And sure enough, it was. We just channelled all of our adoration and love for each other into Ross and Rachel.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

David added, \u201cWe were both crushing hard on each other, but it was like two ships passing. One of us was always in a relationship and we never crossed that boundary.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The stars both recently appeared alongside Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow in the Friends: The Reunion special. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The rumour mill recently went into overdrive when an \u201cinsider\u201d told Closeronline.co.uk earlier this week the pair had been reminiscing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAfter the reunion, it became clear that reminiscing over the past had stirred up feelings for both of them and that chemistry they\u2019d always had to bury was still there. They began texting immediately after filming and, just last month, David flew from his home in New York to see Jen in L.A,\u201d the insider said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThey\u2019ve been spending time at Jen\u2019s home, where she\u2019s cooked dinners in the evenings, and have enjoyed quality time together, chatting and laughing. They were also spotted drinking wine, deep in conversation, as they walked around a vineyard in Santa Barbara, where it was clear there was lots of chemistry between them.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both stars are apparently single. The Morning Wars star divorced second husband Justin Theroux in 2018, while Schwimmer split from his photographer wife Zoe Buckman in 2017. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
