Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) confirmed the news in a statement on Facebook<\/a>, writing: \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe can confirm that Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines have been distributed back to the Central Coast,\u201d the statement said,\u00a0<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n \u201cAnyone who had their Pfizer vaccine redirected to Year 12 students in south west and western Sydney will be contacted in the coming days with more information.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n CCLHD said that anyone who had a Pfizer booking between August 2 and August 15 will have their appointment rescheduled as a priority.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n Central Coast Health is advising that if you haven\u2019t already been contacted, that you will be called in the coming days to arrange a rescheduled appointment and no further action is needed.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n Anyone with an appointment booked between August 16 and September 5 will have their appointment reinstated, either at the date and time previously book or as close as possible to this.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n According to the CCLHD, if this applies to you, you will receive a notification about your appointment in the coming days via email and SMS. <\/p>\n\n\n\n CCLHD have confirmed that unfortunately, they cannot take new bookings for the Pfizer vaccine at the moment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n According to CCLHD, new bookings will become available once the above appointments are re-booked over the coming days. We will advise the community when bookings re-open for new Pfizer appointments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The latest update on the vaccinations comes ahead of CCLHD\u2019s rapid vaccination weekend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n CCLHD is hoping to get as many Coasties vaccinated as possible this weekend and have launched a rapid, AstraZeneca vaccination blitz this weekend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Everyone aged 18 years or older is welcome, with students, teachers, construction and retail workers particularly encouraged to attend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n No appointment are necessary, you can attend whenever you like during the opening hours.
