The Central Coast Animal Care Facility has launched an urgent appeal for donations after receiving the news last week that they will have to relocate from their Erina facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Central Coast Animal Care Facility (CCACF) were notified on Friday that their tender to remain at the Erina site was unsuccessful and they now have five weeks to find a new spot to continue their work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a statement on Facebook, Dee from the Central Coast Animal Care Facility said they are trying to find another place to rent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWell guys it\u2019s official \u2013 CCACF were given our notice today. We were unsuccessful in our attempt to stay on, obviously we are devastated. Where do we go from here?, well we are trying to find another place to rent. Our work is too important to fall over,\u201d Dee said in a statement,<\/p>
\u201cWe are immensely proud of our achievements and for the best part I think the community is too. Sure you will always get those that don\u2019t like you or you cant please but every single person who has crossed our path have impacted our lives in such a way that we will miss being at Erina.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

In a statement on their fundraising page, CCACF think they have found a place, but it is going to cost $85,000 to move there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe think we may have found a place but it will cost $85,000 per year (gulp) so are hoping you can chip in to get us there. I know it is a big ask, but can you help? I know it\u2019s tough out there but you are only hope.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
According to CCAF, just \u201c$5 from each and every one of you would help get us over the line. It\u2019s the cost of your next cup of coffee but one that will help us save more lives\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
