Clubs right across NSW and the Central Coast are all set to pour patrons a free schooner of beer today!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ClubsNSW is set to shout patrons 35,000+ free beers today (November 10) as part of Your Local Club Freedom Day in celebration of the industry reopening and as a reward for NSW achieving the state\u2019s vaccination targets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your Local Club Freedom Day is the brainchild of ClubsNSW CEO Josh Landis and Batch Brewing Co Co-Founder Andrew Fineran, who came up with the idea over a virtual catch-up drink during the COVID-19 lockdown in June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the time, Mr Landis was calling on the NSW Government to identify the vaccination percentage required for the lockdown to be lifted and publicly pledged a free beer for fully vaccinated club patrons to help boost jab rates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aptly named Together Ale, the free limited-edition beer on offer has been specially created for Your Local Club Freedom Day by Lion\u2019s Malt Shovel Brewers and Marrickville craft brewer Batch Brewing Co.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe wanted to make sure that we never have to endure another COVID-19 lockdown again. To do that, we needed everyone to roll up their sleeves and get vaccinated \u2014 and we figured offering people a free beer at their local club was a great incentive,\u201d Mr Landis said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTo have hit our state\u2019s vaccination targets so quickly is fantastic and we\u2019re excited to reward those who got the jab with an ice-cold schooner of Together Ale. A big thanks to Lion and Batch Brewing Co for helping us bring Your Local Club Freedom Day to life.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More than 35,000 free schooners are expected to be poured at 198 participating NSW clubs today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To receive one free schooner of Together Ale, patrons need to register online at www.yourlocalclub.promo<\/a> or scan the QR code at a participating club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A coupon will be sent to them via email, which can be redeemed at a participating club today while stocks last. Lion Managing Director James Brindley said he was only too happy to get behind the initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhen Andrew from Batch Brewing Co called me to see if Lion would be able to provide additional production capacity to make this extremely special beer, I couldn\u2019t say yes quickly enough,\u201d Mr Brindley said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe result is the Together Ale \u2014 a unique beer made especially by Malt Shovel and Batch for the fantastic clubs of NSW to bring their local patrons back together.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Batch Brewing Co Co-Founder Andrew Fineran said he has been counting down the days to Your Local Club Freedom Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
