Yes, a bowl of molded sugar while you watch a pre-The Block <\/em>Shelley Craft \u2013 aka Saturday Disney  <\/em>\u2013 is just the ticket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And not just any cereal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Froot Loops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Avoiding the orange ones, and chowing down on the red with glee, you watched your cartoons while sitting 2cm from the TV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Got that memory?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Good. It\u2019s a lie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018Cause all Froot Loop flavours are the SAME.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is no \u2018purple\u2019 flavour, nor orange, yellow or any of the others. It\u2019s a long-held scientific fact<\/a> that perceived colour affects taste and it got you good, friend. Got you good from a young age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If that weren\u2019t enough to convince you, Lifehacker<\/a> recently got word from the horse\u2019s mouth with a Kellogg\u2019s Australia spokesperson confirming:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAustralian Froot Loops use five different natural flavours, but these are actually all mixed together. The different colours all taste the same.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

And not only that, originally (1963) there were only three colours, red, orange and yellow. Green, blue and purple were added decades later in the \u201890s. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, your whole (cereal-based) life is a lie. You\u2019re welcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
