Calling all mini Picassos! <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n If you\u2019ve been canvasing the neighbourhood for a great after school activity, you don\u2019t want to brush this aside!<\/p>\n The final term of kids art classes for 2019 is about to kick off at Gosford Regional Gallery, and we bet the kids are going to acry-like the courses on offer!\u00a0<\/p>\n There will be four different art classes available, each created for different age groups and skill levels:<\/p>\n Emerging Art-itudes <\/strong><\/p>\n This beginner course designed for kids aged 7-10 to introduce them to the basics of art materials and techniques using playful activities and experiments to target the imagination. The eight-week course will be running from 22nd October \u2013 10th December, and consists of one 1.5 class per week every Tuesday from 4pm to 5.30pm.<\/p>\n Art Mechanics<\/strong><\/p>\n Focusing on developing and extending existing skills through weekly themed activities, this eight-week course is designed for intermediate artists aged 10-15 years. Classes will be held every Monday from 21st October to 9th December from 4pm to 5.30pm.<\/p>\n Technical <\/strong><\/p>\n Designed for older kids with a true passion for art and creation, this advanced class is aimed at developing advanced art techniques in drawing and painting. The students will have a chance to develop a small body of work of two to three art pieces under the guidance of the instructor. Open to kids aged 11-18 years, the first class will kick off on 23rd October and run every Wednesday from 4pm \u2013 5.30pm until 11th December.<\/p>\n Life Drawing <\/strong><\/p>\n A program created for passionate artists in Year 10 \u2013 12, this advanced course will see students study the human figure and draw from a live model. In four weeks, they will learn to interpret proportion, composition, expression, and tone. This program runs twice within the term with the first four-week course being held from Thursday 24th October \u2013 Thursday 14th November, followed by the second session from Thursday 21st November \u2013 Thursday 12th December. Classes will run every Thursday afternoon from 4pm \u2013 5.30pm.<\/p>\n Spots are limited and bookings can be made by clicking here<\/a>.
