Dearest readers, we come bearing some very good news. It looks like Bridgerton<\/em><\/a> heartthrob Reg\u00e9-Jean Page is set to return to the show which made him a global name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s right, the Duke of Hastings could be returning for the third season of the Netflix hit if a new report from The Sun<\/em><\/a> <\/em>is anything to go by.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reg\u00e9-Jean Page broke hearts across the world when he announced he was leaving the Netflix period drama after just one season to \u201cmove on to other projects\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, that has all appeared to change with a source telling The Sun<\/em> that discussions are now underway between Page and the bosses of Bridgerton<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cRecently there has been a dialogue between him and the show\u2019s bosses,\u201d the source told The Sun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNothing has been formally agreed yet, but watch this space.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThings are very up in the air at the moment, but this will be an exciting year for Rege, without a doubt.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Simon is largely referred to in the second season of Bridgerton <\/em><\/a>by the Bridgerton family with fans seeing a lot more of his son Auggie, whom he shares with his wife Daphne (Phoebe Dynevor).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second season of the show focused on Lord Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) and Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next two seasons of Bridgerton<\/em> have been confirmed, with the third season set to focus on Penelope Featherington<\/a> (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
