The family of John Farnham have shared another promising new health update, revealing the Aussie singer has been moved from ICU to a rehabilitation facility following surgery and treatment for cancer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

John’s family \u2013 wife Jill and sons Rob and James Farnham \u2013 have shared a statement saying his recovery is \u201cprogressing well\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cJohn\u2019s recovery from last month\u2019s surgery for mouth cancer is progressing well. His medical team are very pleased with his progress over the past month,\u201d the family shared in a statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis week John has been transferred into a rehabilitation facility. Each of these steps means things are moving in the right direction and for that we are enormously thankful.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOur family are so very grateful to all the remarkable teams of Victorian medical professionals who have taken such good care of John. These outcomes are a credit to your dedication, skills and compassion.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEach of these steps means things are moving in the right direction and for that we are enormously thankful,\u201d the family shared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The family also thanked fans for their messages of support for the singer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe have received many thousands of beautiful messages via the weloveyoujohn.com.au website since it was launched.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBeing surrounded by this much love and support has meant the world to us all. Thank you,\u201d the family said in the statement.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The weloveyoujohn.com.au<\/a>\u00a0website was launched \u2013 with the permission of the Farnham family \u2013 for members of the public to continue to share their messages of love and support for the singer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Messages shared on weloveyoujohn.com.au<\/a> will be saved and shared with John and his family so they can read them when the time is right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The You\u2019re The Voice <\/em>singer was admitted to hospital in August for surgery and treatment for cancer in his jaw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
