{"id":48339,"date":"2022-10-31T09:23:56","date_gmt":"2022-10-30T22:23:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cms.star1045.com.au\/?p=48339"},"modified":"2022-10-31T09:23:59","modified_gmt":"2022-10-30T22:23:59","slug":"pete-rush-unveils-stunning-new-sculpture-on-a-central-coast-beach","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cms.star1045.com.au\/home\/pete-rush-unveils-stunning-new-sculpture-on-a-central-coast-beach\/","title":{"rendered":"Pete Rush Unveils Stunning New Sculpture On A Central Coast Beach"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Local artist and sculptor <a href=\"https:\/\/cms.star1045.com.au\/home\/pete-rush-has-kicked-off-2022-with-a-brand-new-sculpture-you-definitely-have-to-check-this-one-out-as\/\">Pete Rush<\/a> has unveiled a brand new sculpture on the Central Coast beach and it is simply stunning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rush has created a stunning peace dove sculpture on Wamberal Beach complete with cuttlefish feathers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CkQIXqByDxZ\/\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The sculpture also features a quote that reads, \u201cYes and how many seas must a white dove sail, before she sleeps in the sand\u2026?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Pete, it\u2019s about halfway between Wamberal and Spoon Bay and takes about 15 minutes to get to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The best time to for \u201ca photograph is afternoon so that the sun brings out the white \u2018feathers\u2019\u201d as per Rush.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The sculpture joins a long list of amazing creations from Rush.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the start of the year, Rush constructed a sculpture on Tuggerah Lake featuring an <a href=\"https:\/\/cms.star1045.com.au\/home\/pete-rush-unveils-latest-sculpture-this-one-has-to-be-our-favourite-one-yet\/\">acrobat performing a trick<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the right time of day, the acrobat reflected back onto Tuggerah Lake with the \u201cTwo Acrobats\u201d piece conveying the \u201cthought about the reflection supporting the reality.
