The surf lodge proposed for Wisemans Ferry nearly two years ago is set to become a reality, with construction set to begin on the massive project later this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In an email update to investors, the developers behind the Wisemans Ferry Surf Lodge confirmed \u201cHills Shire Council approved our submission, ensuring all our planning requirements are met for construction to begin in March next year.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The developers behind the project believe that the first waves will begin flowing by Summer 2023-2024 with members opening potentially set to take place by Easter 2024, as per the email. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Wisemans Surf Lodge was announced mid-2021 and is set to boast an unparalleled experience, with access to controlled, five-star surf conditions all year round amongst the tranquil bushland of Wisemans Ferry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lodge is set to boast a state-of-the-art wave pool roughly the size of four football fields, with the capacity to generate multiple wave shapes, swells of up to 2.5m and a 10-12 second wave ride at the main peak of the pool. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alongside the world-first surfing destination, will be a stunning resort that will make you feel like you\u2019re in Hawaii without leaving the Central Coast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The resort is set to feature a 9-hole golf course, 54 hotel suites, a restaurant, a bar plus conference facilities and riverfront access. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Co-found John Du Vernet said at the time of the announcement that the world first surf lodge is the solution to accessing the types of wave surfers can only dream about. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat we\u2019ll create at Wisemans is a solution to access the types of waves we\u2019d often have to travel overseas for, waves we dream about,\u201d Mr Du Vernet said. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve focused on creating a space that thinks about everything beyond the pool, even for the non-surfer, within a resort-like facility in a magical, and somewhat secret part of Sydney.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The developers behind the project will be utilising a former hotel built in the area in the early 90s, with the local community set to be involved in every stage of the development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
