{"id":52191,"date":"2023-02-13T12:08:00","date_gmt":"2023-02-13T01:08:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cms.star1045.com.au\/?p=52191"},"modified":"2023-02-13T12:48:20","modified_gmt":"2023-02-13T01:48:20","slug":"gofundme-launched-for-family-of-couple-who-tragically-drown-at-frazer-beach","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cms.star1045.com.au\/home\/gofundme-launched-for-family-of-couple-who-tragically-drown-at-frazer-beach\/","title":{"rendered":"GoFundMe Launched For Family Of Couple Who Tragically Drown At Frazer Beach"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A GoFundMe has been launched to support the children of a couple who tragically lost their lives at Frazer Beach last week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Emergency services were called to Frazer Beach late last week, following reports two people had been pulled from the water unresponsive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Witnesses commenced CPR before NSW Ambulance paramedics arrived, however, the couple \u2013 Kathryn and Matthew \u2013 sadly could not be revived.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the wake of the tragedy, a <a href=\"https:\/\/cms.star1045.com.au\/home\/gofundme-launched-for-the-families-of-the-five-children-killed-in-tasmanian-jumping-castle-accident\/\">GoFundMe<\/a> has now been launched for the couple\u2019s three children with 100% of the money raised going \u201ctowards ongoing care and support\u201d .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kathryn and Matthew\u2019s 9-year-old has a severe disability, meaning he has to be monitored and cared for 24\/7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Their five-year-old daughter has autism and is nonverbal. Matthew\u2019s 13-year-old daughter is suffering from the heartbreaking loss of her father and needs to be supported as well according to the family\u2019s GoFundMe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The extended family are hoping the GoFundMe will help keep the children together as they continue to deal with the tragedy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the time of writing, the GoFundMe had a goal of $50,000 with just over $6,000 raised.
