Get ready for brand new adventures at playspaces right across the Central Coast because ten locations are undergoing major upgrades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Central Coast Council is renewing 10 playspaces right across the Central Coast under their strategic 2020-25 Playspace Strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Playspaces right the way from Budgewoi to Woy Woy Bay will be upgraded. During the renewal period, the ten playspaces will be closed for construction and reopened by the end of April 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Budgewoi\u2019s Mackenzie Reserve is set to under a major upgrade to include sensory, creative and natural play areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new equipment will include two slides, a rope bridge, a slide pole, a nest swing, three standard swings including a junior swing, a dual flying fox with one accessible seat, two rockers, a petrol station, a kids’ bike path around the play area and sculptures for sensory play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bluebell Park at Berkeley Vale will have ageing play equipment replaced with a new shop front, slide, two standard swings, a nest swing, a seesaw and four in a row game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Koolewong Reserve Playspace on the peninsula will see the removal of existing play equipment and construction of a renewed playspace with new play equipment that will include a shop front, sensory play, two slides, monkey bar, rope climber, nest swing and sensory play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
