Mark your calendars because Ed Sheeran<\/a> has confirmed his brand new album \u2018Subtract\u2019 is arriving later this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The British singer-songwriter confirmed Subtract (which is stylised as \u2013 ) will be released on May 5, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It will be the fifth and final mathematics themed album, with Sheeran confirming in a statement on Instagram that Subtract initially sounded a lot different before a series of events change his life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

\u201cI had been working on Subtract for a decade, trying to sculpt the perfect acoustic album, writing and recording hundreds of songs with a clear vision of what I thought it should be,\u201d Sheeran wrote.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThen at the start of 2022, a series of events changed my life, my mental health, and ultimately the way I viewed music and art.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n
