Gosford<\/a> RSL has marked a significant milestone in their $45 million redevelopment with all main structural works now completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The topping out milestone means the building is now 65% complete and on track to open to the public in early 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gosford RSL Club<\/a> CEO Russell Cooper said the excitement is growing for the community-owned club as they progress to the next stage of the multi-million redevelopment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOur site marks the gateway to Gosford and the Central Coast and our new Club will make a statement that our region is prosperous, modern and growing,\u201d Russell said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s exciting to hear so many locals talking about the new Club now that they can see the full scope of the building.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s only going to get even more exciting, as the fit-out commences, and we start forming the hospitality spaces that will be entertaining locals and visitors to the Central Coast from early next year.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plans to redevelop Gosford RSL were announced in May 2022, with the existing venue to be completely transformed into a 3-storey ultra-modern venue on the corner of the Central Coast Highway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The contemporary space which is set to embrace and build on the community the club has formed over the years will feature a distinctive porte-cochere entry alongside an RSL museum and reception, which will service servicing both the RSL and the adjoining motel on the ground floor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first floor will contain a cafe, lounge, bar, multiple indoor and outdoor dining options, a kids\u2019 play area and a retreat for teenagers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second floor will be transformed into a sophisticated conference and event space, with a sports bar and home to \u2018Oak Haven Brewery\u2019, Gosford RSL Club\u2019s successful in-house brewery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parking won\u2019t be an issue, with Gosford RSL to include an additional 154 car parking spaces which are expected to accommodate the expected increase in patron numbers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the new venue is operational, developer North Construction & Building will demolish the existing club to establish car parking spaces to accommodate the expected increase in patron numbers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The existing RSL Club continues to remain operational throughout construction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
