Two local women are attempting to break a Guinness World Record on the Central Coast<\/a> this weekend, and they want as many people as possible there to break it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s right, you could live out your childhood dream of being featured in a Guinness World Record book this Sunday, May 21, 2023, when you join the world\u2019s largest Aqua Aerobics class attempt at Mingara Recreation Club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The attempt is being hosted by Sarah and Twynette from Mingara Recreation Club, with the event doubling as a fundraiser event for their Stars of the Central Coast to raise much needed funds for Cancer Council Central Coast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Breaking records and raising money for a good cause? Sounds like a perfect Sunday to us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now for the important details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The record breaking attempt will be held at the Mingara Recreation Club this Sunday, with tickets to participate now on sale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can grab yours today for just $25 right here<\/a>, with all funds raised from the tickets and on the day donated directly to Cancer Council NSW.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants are encouraged to arrive by 9am to be ready, registered, and raring to get into the water to get the attempt underway at 9:30am.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There will be some warm-up and instructions given prior to the attempt starting at approximately 9:45am.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The class will run for a period of 30 minutes and of course, being a world record attempt there will be some rules and regulations that apply that you will be taken through.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you\u2019re registered, you will receive an information sheet with all the need-to-know details and if you have any health concerns, then be sure to seek medical advice prior to participating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sarah and Twynette are the wildcard duo for the 2023 Stars of the Central Coast and will be taking to the stage on Friday, May 26, 2023 to perform a jazz routine. You can make a direct donation to their fundraising page here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
