Amok! Amok! Amok!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Get ready to be spooked all over again because Hocus Pocus 3<\/em> is officially in the works at Disney.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking to\u00a0The New York Times<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>Disney\u2019s President of Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Sean Bailey confirmed work has begun on the third instalment to the spellbinding series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is no word yet on when\u00a0Hocus Pocus 3\u00a0<\/em>will be released but\u00a0The Hollywood Reporter<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>has learnt that Anne Fletcher and Jen D\u2019Angelo will return to direct and write respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is unknown if Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker<\/a> and Kathy Najimy will return for the third instalment but all three have previously expressed interest for a third film.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hocus Pocus 2 <\/em>saw Midler, Parker and Najimy all reunite for the highly anticipated sequel, which had been 29 years in the making.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second instalment of the spooky film series saw us go back in time \u2013 approximately 370 years \u2013 the humble beginnings of the Sanderson sisters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Winnifred (Midler), Sarah (Parker) and Mary (Najimy) were all banished from Salem by a reverend and once they escape into the forest, they are met by a mysterious witch, (Waddingham).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Waddingham\u2019s character shared a book of spells with the Sanderson sisters and well, the rest was history bringing us forward to the present day where some young high schoolers light the fabled Black Flame Candle once more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chaos ensued as they resurrect the Sanderson sisters and out the kids\u2019 souls to live beyond dawn. Spooky, right?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The high school students must now stop the ravenous sisters from wreaking a new kind of havoc on modern-day Salem before dawn on All Hallow\u2019s Eve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both Hocus Pocus <\/em>movies are currently streaming on Disney+.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
