What I found was a beautiful place and community to match,\u201d Montgomery said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI will never forget the support the fans have given me and my family. I am so happy I could deliver that trophy back to the Coast, for them and for the community. Together as one family we made what people thought was impossible, possible.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Montgomery also said it\u2019s time for a new chapter for the club.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s time for a new chapter, but you will always be in my heart, and I will be supporting from afar,\u201d Montgomery wrote.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Central Coast Mariners club legend and Sporting Director Matt Simon thanked Montgomery \u2013 and Assistant Coach Sergio Raimundo, who will also be departing the Mariners for Hibernian \u2013 for everything they\u2019ve done for the club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI would like to start by personally thanking Monty and Sergio for everything they have done for me and the club,\u201d Simon said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cWe have been inundated with interest from all over the world for the vacant position of Head Coach of the Central Coast Mariners.
