But when it comes to self-love, Sam has five tried and tested tips that she lives by.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-live-in-the-moment-with-acceptance-gratitude\"><br><strong>Live In The Moment With Acceptance &amp; Gratitude:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sam\u2019s first tip? Don\u2019t let your age, size and financial situation define you. Love who you are now and not what you used to look like 10 years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">People change, so accept who you are now, be grateful and of course learn how to style your shape and personality with items that truly express and complement your uniqueness. To get started, she recommends putting items together from your wardrobe that you haven\u2019t worn together before. Ankle boots with a maxi dress? Go for it! Or even a linen blazer with your jeans instead of a denim jacket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><br><strong>Treat Yourself:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If it\u2019s coming from a stylist, then it\u2019s a must-do \u2013 treat yourself. Sam recommends telling your subconscious mind, \u201cI am worth this\u201d when it comes to style and life. It doesn\u2019t have to be clothes either. \u2018Treat yourself\u2019 can be something as simple as a bath by candlelight or an at-home facial. In her words \u201cShow yourself some love by putting aside time just for you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><br><strong>#DressItUpFeelsGood:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is a mantra invented by Sam herself years ago\u2026 \u201cYou can never be overdressed, only inappropriately dressed\u201d.
