Dearest gentle reader, Bridgerton<\/a> <\/em>showrunner Jess Brownell has let slip when we could see the next season of the hit Netflix show and it\u2019s not great news for fans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter<\/a> <\/em>at the premiere of season three, part two showrunner Jess Brownell confirmed that the earliest we could see the hit Netflix show is 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No, your eyes didn\u2019t deceive you; showrunner Jess Brownell says the time frame for producing the show is at minimum 2 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI have almost slipped up a couple of times so keep asking, and maybe I\u2019ll slip up,\u201d Brownell told The Hollywood Reporter<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m really excited about what we\u2019re writing. We\u2019re towards the end with the writer\u2019s room season, with the scripts.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are working to try and put the seasons out more quickly, but they do take eight months to film and then they have to be edited, and then they have to be dubbed into every language,\u201d Brownell said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brownell wouldn\u2019t be drawn on which Bridgerton <\/em>couple would be the \u2018diamond\u2019 of season four, other than to say fans would be \u201cvery, very happy\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Personally, we\u2019d love to see Benedict Bridgerton get his moment to shine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
