A normal trip to the zoo for us Coasties involves organising hotel rooms, train tickets and entry passes days and even weeks in advance. Well, you don\u2019t have to worry about any of that because you can have an animal experience right here on the Central Coast \u2013 without the planning and without the price tag. The pelican feed is an iconic and much-loved activity that takes place 365 days of the year. You can watch as dozens of pelicans enjoy their daily food, all while learning about the history of the feed, pelican anatomy and more! Catch it at 3.30pm every day at Memorial Park!<\/p>\n

Hike to a beautiful waterfall <\/strong><\/p>\n

For all those fit couples out there, why not skip the gym and spend the day hiking instead? The hike to Kariong Brook Falls is steep and challenging, but comes with a fantastic reward \u2013 the sight of a stunning waterfall. Starting on Woy Woy Rd, the track follows the Tommos Loop Fire Trail before branching right into the Hawkesbury Track, passing Tommos Campground and arriving at the spectacular falls.<\/p>\n
