{"id":731,"date":"2019-06-24T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2019-06-23T14:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cms.star1045.com.au\/uncategorized\/woolies-roll-out-drive-through-groceries\/"},"modified":"2019-06-24T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2019-06-23T14:00:00","slug":"woolies-roll-out-drive-through-groceries","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cms.star1045.com.au\/lifestyle\/woolies-roll-out-drive-through-groceries\/","title":{"rendered":"Woolies to roll out drive-through groceries"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cms.star1045.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/gettyimages-595014272.jpg\" alt=\"WOOLWORTHS\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>The drive-through service is already available at select stores in Australia.\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>The days of battling the aisles of Woolies after 5pm just to get a $1 packet of pasta are soon to over thanks to the introduction of a new in-car service.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The supermarket giant are rolling out a drive-through shopping experience that offer a stay-in-your-car service.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cWe\u2019re always looking for ways to make shopping faster and easier,\u201d a Woolworths spokesman told news.com.au.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cOur pick-up and drive-through collections are another way we are able to do just that.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWith drive-through our team members hand-pick online orders in store and place the groceries directly into a customer\u2019s boot on arrival.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The feature is currently available at stores across the country including Warringah Mall and Gregory Hills in Sydney, as well as Brisbane\u2019s Ascot and Melbourne\u2019s Heidelberg.
